The Partnership Support Unit

The Partnership Support Unit (PSU) is a strategic resource that has been developed for the Northamptonshire Partnership to coordinate activity across agencies to lead on the development of partnership working across Northamptonshire driving innovation and transformational change in service delivery and outcomes.

The work has been led by the Partnership Support Unit Programme Board (PSUPB) who makes recommendations to the Chief Executives Group who then report to the Public Service Board.

The aim of the PSU is to support Northamptonshire public services working together to develop an ongoing dialogue and engagement with citizens and service users within the county in order to shape the design and delivery of quality services.

The PSU will provide common capacity for the Northamptonshire Partnership agencies through the development and management of the Partnership Support Unit, to:

  • work together to improve understanding of local people's needs
